EDMONTON - Looking to clinch a post-season berth for the second-consecutive season, the 2-2 Alberta Golden Bears host the 1-3 Regina Rams on Saturday afternoon at Foote Field.
The Bears are coming off a thrilling 36-30 upset win over the defending Vanier Cup Champion Calgary Dinos, while the Rams are coming off back-to-back tight losses to UBC and Saskatchewan. The win propels Alberta into third in Canada West, trailing only the 3-1 Saskatchewan Huskies and 3-1 Manitoba Bisons.Â
A Bears win, coupled with a Dinos loss to UBC, would clinch a playoff berth for Alberta.Â

- Saturday's clash will mark the lone regular season meeting between the Bears and Rams, with the two sides also meeting in a pre-season contest in early September, won by the Rams 34-25 in Medicine Hat, Alta.
- While the Rams own a 22-10 all-time conference record against Alberta, the two sides have split their last four regular season meetings 2-2.Â
