University of Alberta Athletics receives numerous requests for support from worthy organizations throughout the year. We focus our efforts primarily on registered charitable organizations focused on youth initiatives in sport, education and disadvantaged in the Edmonton area.

Organizations We Support
Youth Sport: We believe that young people involved in sport learn valuable life skills including teamwork, communication, and active living while having fun. University of Alberta Athletics aims to work with youth sport groups to encourage athlete participation and enhanced coach training.
Youth Education: As a part of a leading academic institution in Canada and around the world, U of A Athletics recognizes how vital education is to our community.
Disadvantaged Youth: As future contributors to our society, University of Alberta Athletics recognizes the importance of having a positive impact on less fortunate youth. We are committed to working with organizations supporting disadvantaged Edmonton and area children to have them experience a Golden Bears or Pandas game.

Contribution Guidelines
We ask that all requests be made in writing outlining: your organization, goals, the people it serves, how U of A Athletics support will enhance your programming and the specific support you are requesting (game tickets, merchandise, in-game promotions etc.). In order to be fair to other organizations, we ask that you submit only one charity request per calendar year.
Golden Bears and Pandas merchandise and regular season tickets may be considered for donation as prize giveaways or for silent auctions. Tickets will be issued for specific games and are not redeemable for other games.

Athlete Involvement
Golden Bears and Pandas teams offer autograph sessions and meet and greets with young fans after select games as well as involvement in specific events or initiatives. Involvement in, and organization of, such sessions are at the discretion of each individual team.

Usage of Golden Bears, Pandas, or any other registered University of Alberta logos or marks must be approved by the University of Alberta Athletics.
