CALGARY - For the second time in three fall events, Kalee Seto and Ethan Howes are tournament champions. The pair of UofA golfers continued their stellar season by capturing the UofC Invitational titles on Monday at McKenzie Meadows Golf Club. 

Entering Monday trailing by two shots, Howes fired a seven-under 65 to win the UofC Invitational. It is Howes' second tournament win of 2024 after winning the UofA Invitational two weeks ago. 

Howes was trailing by one shot at the turn on Monday, before carding an eagle and two birdies to start his back nine to jump atop the leaderboard. Howes parred the final four holes to hold onto his lead. 

Trailing by one after an opening-round 78, Seto carded a stellar one-over 73 on Monday morning to capture the UofC Invitational. It's the third-straight win for Seto, who is a perfect 3/3 in fall university tournaments in 2024. The Royal Mayfair product had an extremely clean and efficient final round on Monday, recording 15 pars, one birdie, and just two bogeys. 

Rookie Panda Hayden Desmarais carded an 83 on Monday to earn her second-straight top 5 finish

The final event on the fall golf schedule is the 2024 Canada West Championship, hosted by the UBC Okanagan Heat from October 6th to 8th.
