LETHBRIDGE - With 11 points and 10 rebounds in the Pandas 75-51 win on Saturday, fifth-year Panda
Claire Signatovich set a new team record with her 20th career double-double. Signatovich passed the previous record of 19 set by Elle Hendershot in 2018.
The Pandas captain added two assists and a steal in her first game back from injury, powering the Pandas to a second-straight win over the Pronghorns.
Ella Rees led the Pandas with 20 points, making six of her eight shots from beyond the arc. The Pandas now own an 8-2 conference record.Â
Both Rees' and Signatovich's contributions on Saturday came off the bench, with the Pandas bench out-scoring the Pronghorns 36-10.Â
Led by six three's from Rees, the Pandas went 10/19 from beyond the arc in their 24-point win, with
Annacy Palmer adding a pair of three's following her 23 points in Friday night's win.Â
The Pandas will return home next weekend to face UBCO, while the Horns will travel to Edmonton to face the MacEwan Griffins.
