Story Lines:

• Fresh off capturing their 12th Canada West title on Saturday night at Saville, Pandas Volleyball heads to Winnipeg as the No. 1 seed for the U SPORTS Championship.
• The Pandas will be seeking their 8th national title, and first since 2007.
• Alberta captured a silver medal at the 2024 U SPORTS Championship in Hamilton. The Pandas have won a national medal in each of their last eight trips to the U SPORTS Championship.
• Friday afternoon's quarter-final will be the first time the Pandas and Sea-Hawks have met since a pre-season clash in 2015.

• Thanks to a 20-point win over UFV in the Canada West Bronze game, the Pandas will head to their third-straight national championship this week in Vancouver.
• It ties the longest consecutive nationals appearance streak for the Pandas, joining three-straight trips from 1999-2001, and 2014-16.
• Alberta will meet the Canada West Champion Huskies in the quarter-final on Thursday night.
• The Pandas lost a pair of conference games to Saskatchewan in November, before winning 17-straight.
